Essentials Sweatpants size chart
Essentials runs oversized. This is intentional – drop shoulders, wide body.
- Your usual size = the oversized look from the lookbook.
- One size down = a regular fit like other brands.
- Women: the line is unisex – go 1–2 sizes smaller than your women's size.
- From 1.88 m (6'2"): your usual size – going smaller costs about 2.5 cm of leg length.

Sweatpants measurements
| Measurements in cm | XXS | XS | S | M | L | XL | XXL |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Waist (relaxed) | 66 | 71 | 76 | 81 | 86 | 91 | 99 |
| Hip | 93 | 98 | 103 | 108 | 113 | 118 | 126 |
| Inseam | 74 | 76 | 79 | 81 | 84 | 86 | 89 |
Garment measurements taken flat, chest = 2 × width under the armpit, length from shoulder height at the collar. Deviations of ±2 cm depending on the season are normal.
The waistband fits normally, the room is in the seat and leg. The pants are not cut short (inseam M: 81 cm) – the "cropped" impression comes from the tight cuffs and the stacking at the ankle. "Relaxed" models have a straight, wide leg opening instead of cuffs.
Body measurements according to the manufacturer
| Body measurement in cm | XXS | XS | S | M | L | XL | XXL |

| Waist | 66 | 71 | 76 | 81 | 86 | 91 | 98 |
This is how Fear of God assigns sizes to the body – the oversized fit then results from this.
