Essentials Shorts size chart

Essentials runs oversized. This is intentional – drop shoulders, a roomy body.

  • Your usual size = the oversized look from the lookbook.
  • One size down = a regular fit like other brands.
  • Women: the line is unisex – go 1–2 sizes smaller than your women's size.
  • Nylon/mesh shorts: elastic waistband – your usual size or one size down.

Guideline values for an average build. If you have a stronger build or broad shoulders, lean toward the oversized column. For comparison: at 1.82 m and 70 kg, M fits for the oversized look, S for the regular fit.

Garment measurements taken flat, chest = 2 × width under the armpit, length measured from shoulder height at the collar. Deviations of ±2 cm depending on the season are normal.

The shorts have a wide cut with a low crotch – this makes them look almost knee-length, even though the inseam measures only 13–18 cm. Leg opening 61–69 cm.
